Global Champion for the Africa Adaptation Acceleration Program (AAAP) Inaguration

The Vice Chancellor, University of Nairobi Prof. Kiama and the CEO of Global Centre on Adaptation (GCA) Dr. Patrick Verkooijen signed an agreement to support the Climate Adaptation during the Inauguration of Global Champion for the Africa Adaption Acceleration Program.

This was operationalized during the 2nd Leader’s dialogue on Adaptation Action in Africa held at the University of Nairobi, Taifa Hall on Thursday July 7, 2022.

H.E the President of the Republic of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta graced the occasion amongst other leaders, The President was awarded Global Champion for Adaptation Action in Africa, this was also supported by other dignitaries both physical and online.
